- Branching When the sprout divides into branches and begins to choose its direction
- Foliage When the selected branches grow more leaves and gain visible reach
- Bud Just before bloom, when energy concentrates inward
- Bloom When the bud opens and expression and connection extend outward at their fullest
- Undercurrent After Bloom, sinking below the surface to retune one's force
- Harvest When the force tuned in Undercurrent appears outwardly as fruit
- Falling After harvest, returning unneeded leaves to the ground
- Hibernation A tree that has shed its leaves stores force in its roots
- Stirring Inside the soil, the quiet movement toward the next spring begins
- Return After total review and integration of the previous cycle, the door to the next Seed phase opens
