  1. Phase 1 Seed A time when invisible roots are being grown underground.
  2. Phase 2 Sprout When the roots in the soil push the first shoot above the surface
  3. Phase 3 Branching When the sprout divides into branches and begins to choose its direction
  4. Phase 4 Foliage When the selected branches grow more leaves and gain visible reach
  5. Phase 5 Bud Just before bloom, when energy concentrates inward
  6. Phase 6 Bloom When the bud opens and expression and connection extend outward at their fullest
  7. Phase 7 Undercurrent After Bloom, sinking below the surface to retune one's force
  8. Phase 8 Harvest When the force tuned in Undercurrent appears outwardly as fruit
  9. Phase 9 Falling After harvest, returning unneeded leaves to the ground
  10. Phase 10 Hibernation A tree that has shed its leaves stores force in its roots
  11. Phase 11 Stirring Inside the soil, the quiet movement toward the next spring begins
